Sir Charles Spencer "Charlie" Chaplin
(April 16, 1889 – December 16, 1977)

Charlie Chaplin was forced to live in a workhouse at the age
of seven, and his mother was sent to a mental asylum. When
he was fourteen, he began touring as a comedian, and at age
19, he moved to America with the Fred Karno company.

Donald Jay "Don" Rickles (May 8, 1926 – April 6, 2017)

(FoxNews)-According to his publicist, comedy legend and actor Don Rickles
died of kidney failure today at his Los Angeles home.

Rickles was known for his stand-up comedy work and his frequent longtime
appearances on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” and “Late
Show with David Letterman.”

His most recent film work included voice-over roles as the grumpy Mr. Potato
Head in the “Toy Story” films and shorts.

was born in Knoxville, TN.

Alan Samuel Colmes (September 24, 1950 – February 23, 2017)

The liberal radio and TV commentator died at a Manhattan medical center this
morning after suffering from lymphoma. 

Colmes, who was born in New York City, was  a longtime radio host with WABC 
and WNBC, author, and even a stand up comedian.
