Mary Jane "Mae" West
(August 17, 1893 – November 22, 1980)

Actress, singer, and Hollywood sex symbol Mae West appeared in such
films as She Done Him Wrong (1933), I’m No Angel (1933), and Go West,
Young Man
(1936). She also performed in the 1928 Broadway production
of Diamond Lil. In 1999, the American Film Institute placed her 15th on
their list of the greatest female film stars of all time. She began her acting
career as a child star in vaudeville productions.

Allen Albert Funt (September 16, 1914 – September 5, 1999)

Candid Camera was originally called The Candid Microphone and was first heard
on ABC radio June 28, 1947. Creator Allen Funt brought his program to ABC -TV
using the Candid Microphone title of the radio series, and then switched to NBC in
the fall of 1949 (for Philip Morris, with Ken Roberts as his announcer), at which
point its name was changed to Candid Camera

George Coe
(May 10, 1929 – July 18, 2015)
He bas born in Jamaica, Queens, New York
.


Variety – George Coe, an actor with extensive credits and a
longtime activist in the Screen Actors Guild, died Saturday in
Santa Monica, Calif., after battling a long illness.

Coe acted for more than 50 years of film, TV, commercial and
stage work. He had a lengthy career as a commercial performer
both on camera and voiceover, including six years as the voice
of Toyota.

"Kathy" Bates was born in
Memphis, Tennessee.


After appearing in several minor roles in film and television during the 1970s
and the 1980s, Bates rose to prominence with her performance in Misery
(1990), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress; she also
received a Golden Globe. She followed this with major roles in Fried Green
Tomatoes
(1991) and Dolores Claiborne (1995), before playing a featured
role as Molly Brown in Titanic (1997).
