in his bodybuilding days, "Arnie" or "Schwarzy" during his
acting career, and "the Governator" (a portmanteau of
"Governor" and "Terminator") during his political career.
He’s 77 years old today.

FIREFIGHTER HONORED WITH BLOOD DRIVE
GRESHAM, Ore. (KATU) — A donation blood drive in Gresham is
set for Friday in honor of Firefighter Spencer Tejedas, who is
currently recovering from severe injuries sustained in the line
of duty.
According to the City of Gresham, the blood drive with be on
August 2. from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Gresham City Hall Conference Center.
Spencer Tejedas was severely burned in late May. Tejedas went
inside a burning duplex for a child who may have been inside.
Three firefighters entered the home and searched a bedroom
then conditions got worse.
According to the fire chief, the crews had to crawl to get out of
the home and Tejedas was burned on more than 45% of his body.
The Gresham Fire Department says a blood drive is a tangible way
for the community to impact Spencer’s recovery and show up for
the Tejedas’ family during this difficult time.
