(FOX NEWS) – Rex White, who was NASCAR’s oldest living
champion and a 2015 inductee into the Hall of Fame, has
died. He was 95.
NASCAR and the NASCAR Hall of Fame confirmed White’s
death on Friday. No additional details were provided.
NASCAR chairman Jim France said, ‘Rex epitomized the
formative days of NASCAR – a true pioneer whose
contributions helped shape the foundation of our sport.’

off a wooden bridge into a tide-swept pond. Kennedy escaped
the submerged car, but his passenger, 28-year-old Mary Jo
Kopechne, did not. The senator did not report the fatal car
accident for 10 hours.

(Hollywood Reporter) - Pop singer Connie Francis died
Wednesday. A cause of death has not been revealed,
but Francis had been hospitalized earlier this month
after experiencing what she described as "extreme pain."
She underwent a series of tests and examinations while
in intensive care and was later transferred to a private
room.

Two women were killed and 2 men were wounded at
Richmond Road Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky
on Sunday.
Police believe the suspect, who was shot by responding law
enforcement and was pronounced deceased at the scene,
may have had a connection to the Church.

On July 9, 1850, after only 16 months in office, President
Zachary Taylor (65) died after a brief illness. The exact
cause of his death is still disputed by some historians.
He was suffering from symptoms that included severe
cramping, diarrhea, nausea and dehydration.
His personal physicians concluded that he had succumbed
to cholera morbus, a bacterial infection of the small intestine.
His vice president, Millard Fillmore, was sworn in as the new
president the next day.
