The National Broadcasting Company (NBC) was formed by
by the Radio Corporation of America (RCA). It is the oldest
major broadcast network in the United States. The network
began broadcasting with a gala four-hour radio program
originating from the ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel
in New York City.

100 Years…100 Movies and the fifth greatest animated film
in their 10 Top 10 list. The film’s first of thirteen theatrical
roadshow engagements opened at the Broadway Theatre
in New York City.
