English lead singer and one of the founding members of  the
Rolling Stones, Sir Michael Philip Jagger is 78 today.

In 1989, Jagger was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame
, and in 2004 into the UK Music Hall of Fame with the
Rolling Stones.

Sir Michael Philip "Mick" Jagger is 73 years old today.

Mick Jagger met future Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards
in primary school. He initially intended on going into politics or
economics. Mick Jagger has appeared on the cover of Rolling
Stone magazine over twenty times since 1968. In 2003, he was
knighted.
