Jan Murry (Murray Janofsky) (October 4, 1916 – July 2, 2006)
Murry was a stand-up comedian and actor who also hosted several
television game shows.
Dollar a Second was a comedy game show hosted by Jan Murray which
originally aired from September 20, 1953 to June 14, 1954 on the DuMont
Television Network. It was sponsored by Mogen David Wine.

Barry Williams (Barry William Blenkhorn)
Williams is best remembered for his role as Greg Brady, the oldest
son, on the ABC television series, The Brady Bunch (1969-1974).

Bess Myerson as Miss America in 1945
Bess Myerson become the first Jewish woman to win the Miss America
pageant shortly after World War II along with a first ever pageant award
of $5,000 scholarship.
Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, Myerson enjoyed a successful TV
career as a game show panelist, actress, and commercial pitchwoman
for many popular products.
REMEMBERING DENNIS JAMES
Dennis James (Demie James Sposa)
(August 24, 1917–June 3, 1997)
James is best known for hosting the first network game show
Cash and Carry on the DuMont Network in 1946, the first to
do a telethon and was in the first TV commercial as well.
