Suspense was a radio drama series broadcast on CBS Radio
from 1942 through 1962. One of the premier programs was
subtitled “Radio’s outstanding theater of thrills” and focused
on suspense thriller-type scripts, usually featuring leading
Hollywood actors of the day. Approximately 945 episodes
were broadcast during its long run, and more than 900
still exist. It its early years, the program made only
occasional ventures into science fiction and fantasy.

Gene Barry was a stage, screen, and television actor, best known for his
portrayal of the title character in the NBC- TV series Bat Masterson airing
from 1958 to1961. One of his many film roles included Dr. Clayton Forrester
in H. G. Wells’s The War of the Worlds (1953).

Adrienne Barbeau came to prominence in the 1970s as Broadway’s original Rizzo
in the musical Grease, and as Carol Traynor, the divorced daughter of Maude
Findlay (played by Beatrice Arthur) in the CBS sitcom Maude (1972-1978). In
the early 1980s, Barbeau starred in several horror and Sci-Fi films, including
The Fog (1980), Creepshow (1982), and Escape from New York (1981). During
the 1990s, she became known for providing the voice of Catwoman on Batman:
The Animated Series.

Bruce Dern has appeared as a guest star in numerous television shows. He
frequently takes roles as a character actor playing villainous roles. Dern has
appeared in more than 80 feature films and made for TV movies. He is the
father of actress Laura Dern.

Sally Kellerman is a actress and singer best known for her role as Major
Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan in the film M*A*S*H (1969), for which she
was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. The
film became one of the biggest hits of the early 1970s for Twentieth
Century Fox.
