Christie Brinkley (born Christie Lee Hudson in Monroe, Michigan)

Model and actress Christie Brinkley gained worldwide fame beginning in
the late 1970s with three consecutive Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue
covers through 1981. She spent twenty five years as the face of CoverGirl
(the longest running cosmetics contract of any model in history), has
appeared on over 500 magazine covers, and has signed contracts with
major brands—both fashion and non-fashion.

Marilyn Monroe (Norma Jeane Mortenson) (June 1, 1926 – August 5, 1962)

Hartford (AP) — Mary Doyle Keefe (above), the model for Norman Rockwell’s
iconic 1943 "Rosie the Riveter" painting that symbolized the millions of American
women who went to work on the home front during World War II, has died.

According to her daughter Mary, Keefe died Tuesday at The McLean Village
Community in Simsbury after a brief illness.

Keefe grew up in Arlington, Vt., where she met Rockwell — who lived in West
Arlington — and posed for his painting when she was a 19-year-old telephone
operator. The painting was on the cover of the Saturday Evening Post for May
29, 1943 (shown above).

Kerstin Anita Marianne Ekberg (September 29, 1931 – January 11, 2015)

Ekberg died Sunday at a clinic in Castelli Romani, Italy from complications of a
longtime illness.

Sharon Vonne Stone

Instinct with Michael Douglas. Despite initial critical negativity and public 
protest, Basic Instinct became one of the most successful films financially  
of the 1990s. Before fame, Stone quit school to become a fashion model
