Deborah Kerr (born Deborah Jane Kerr-Trimmer in Scotland)
(September 30, 1921 – October 16, 2007)

Kerr danced with Yul Brynner in the classic 1956 film, The King and I
and was nominated six times for the Academy Award for Best Actress,
but never won. She originally trained as a ballet dancer.

British born actress Greer Garson won an Oscar Award for her role in
Mrs. Miniver in 1942. She received seven Academy Award nominations
and was acclaimed as one of the top box office draws of the 1940s. She
intended to become a teacher, studying French and literature in college,
but instead became a Hollywood star.

VERSATILE ACTOR HAS DIED AT 98

Don Keefer  'Banacek' (1972)
Donald H. "Don" Keefer

(August 18, 1916 – September 7, 2014)

Keefer, a versatile character actor for six decades who
starred in the original 1949 Broadway production of Death
of a Salesman
and made an indelible impression as “a bad
man, a very bad man” on The Twilight Zone, died September
7 of natural causes in his Sherman Oaks home.  

Don Keefer’s longest-lasting roles were in ten episodes each
of the CBS series, Gunsmoke, starring James Arness, and
Angel
, a 1960-1961 sitcom featuring French-American actress
Annie Fargé.
