People Candice Bergen

Actress Candice Patricia Bergen is a former fashion model is best known for
starring roles in two TV series, the CBS sitcom Murphy Brown (1988-1998),
for which she won five Emmy Awards ands two Golden Globe Awards, and the
ABC comedy-drama Boston Legal (2004-2008). She starred in several major
films throughout the mid 1960s to early 1980s such as The Sand Pebbles
(1966), and Gandhi (1982) and received an Academy Award nomination
for her role in Starting Over (1979). Bergen’s later career includes a role
in the 2000 film Miss Congeniality.

ACTRESS DANA WYNTER HAS DIED AT 79

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Dana Wynter, who ran from the Pod People in the 1956
science-fiction classic "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," has died in Southern
California. She was 79. Her son, Mark Bautzer, told the Los Angeles Times the
actress died Thursday, May 5th, of congestive heart failure. She appeared in
film and television for more than forty years.

Eric Hilliard "Ricky" Nelson, later known as Rick Nelson, was a singer,
musician, and Golden Globe-nominated actor. With fifty-three Hot 100
hits between 1957 and 1973, including nineteen top-ten hits, Nelson was   
second only to Elvis Presley as the most popular rock and roll artist of the  
1950s and 1960s. Nelson began his entertainment career in 1949 playing 
himself, along with his mother and father and big brother David, in the  
radio sitcom series, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet

a frequent quest of late night TV shows. He has acted in comedic and
dramatic roles, but is best known as an insult comic. Rickles has enjoyed
a sustained career, due to his distinct sense of humor. It has been said
that being insulted by Rickles is like "wearing a badge of honor”.

Actor Gary Cooper  was renowned for his quiet, understated acting style which
was particularly well suited to the many Western films he made. His career was
from 1925 until shortly before his death, and comprised more than one hundred
films. Cooper received five Academy Award nominations for Best Actor, winning
twice for Sergeant York (1941) and High Noon (1952). He also received an
Honorary Award in 1961 from the Academy. The American Film Institute named
Cooper among the AFI’s 100 Years – 100 Stars, ranking 11th among males from
the Classic Hollywood cinema period.
