Barbara Bush (Pierce) (June 8, 1925 – April 17, 2018)

Barbara Bush was the wife of George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the United
States
, and served as the First Lady of the United States from 1989 to 1993. She
served as the
Second Lady of the United States from 1981 to 1989. She was the
mother of
George W. Bush, the 43rd President, and Jeb Bush, the 43rd Governor
of Florida
. On April 15, 2018, it was announced that Bush would no longer seek
medical treatment and had instead chosen the option of "comfort care
". Bush died
in her Houston home today.
