International sex symbol Raquel Welch appeared in One Million Years
B.C. (1966). Her other films include 2001’s Legally Blonde and 1967’s
The Oldest Profession. She performed ballet for ten years prior to
movie fame.

Yvonne Joyce Craig (May 16, 1937 – August 17, 2015)

Yvonne was a ballet dancer and actress best known for her role
as Batgirl from the 1960s ABC television series Batman, and as
the Orion slave girl Marta in the Star Trek: The Original Series 
on NBC. Craig died at her home in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles,
on Monday from metastatic breast cancer that had spread to her
liver.

X Minus One was a half-hour science fiction radio drama series broadcast from
April 24, 1955 until it was canceled on January 9, 1958. The program aired in
various timeslots on NBC. It opened with announcer Fred Collins delivering the countdown.
