Richard Hawley Grant (November 27, 1935 – March 27, 2013)

Grant passed away on March 27, 2013, in Roatan, Honduras, while
cruising the Western Caribbean. He was born in Portland, Oregon
and graduated from Beaverton High School in 1953 and attended 
the University of Oregon, graduating in 1957. Richard went on to
become a health/PE teacher and coach at The Dalles High School
from 1957 to 1960 and Centennial High School in Gresham from
1960 to 1966.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OPB, All Classical 89.9
or a local Food Bank. A Celebration of Dick’s life will be held at the
Willamette Heritage Center at the Mill in Salem on April 28 1-3 p.m.
