Crosley made his fortune in the automotive
parts and accessories business, before
diversifying into manufacturing other
consumer products and Crosley cars in
the 1920s and 1930s.
In 1925 his company became the largest
manufacturer of radios in the world.

The "Jell-O" brand is a registered trademark of Kraft
Heinz, and is based in Chicago, Illinois.
In 1897, in LeRoy, New York, carpenter and cough
syrup manufacturer Pearle Bixby Wait trademarked
a gelatin dessert called "Jell-O". Wait and his wife,
May, added strawberry, raspberry, orange, and lemon
flavoring to granulated gelatin and sugar.
