Mary Loretta “Mariette” Hartley
Hartley is a well known character actress who began her career in her
teens as a stage actress. Her film career began with Ride the High
Country (1962), She first appeared on television in a CBS episode
of Gunsmoke in 1962.

GAME SHOW DEBUTED ON THIS DAY IN 1952
I’ve Got a Secret is a panel game show produced by Mark Goodson and Bill
Todman for CBS television. It was a derivative of What’s My Line?. Instead of
celebrity panelists trying to determine a contestant’s occupation, the panel
tries to determine a contestant’s "secret", from unusual to embarrassing.
The original version ran until April 3, 1967. It began broadcasting in black and
white and switched to a color format in 1966. The show was originally hosted
by radio and television personality Garry Moore.
STAR OF THE SOPRANOS HAS DIED AT 51
James Joseph Gandolfini, Jr. (September 18, 1961 – June 19, 2013)
Actor Gandolfini was best known for his role as Tony Soprano in The Sopranos
on HBO. He reportedly died in Italy of an apparent heart attack.
