ORLANDO, Fla. (TND) — Madison Marsh is a U.S. Air Force officer,
a master’s student at Harvard and is now adding 2024 Miss America
to her impressive resume.

She also happens to be the first active-duty servicemember to ever
win the title.

Marsh, 22, graduated last year from the United States Air Force
Academy with a degree in physics and is currently enrolled at
Harvard pursuing her master’s in public policy.

The U.S. Air Force celebrated her win on X and called her "our
very own."

On January 15, 1929, Martin Luther King Jr.was born in Atlanta,
Georgia, the son of a Baptist minister. King received a doctorate
degree in theology and in 1955 helped organize the first major
protest of the African American civil rights movement: the
successful Montgomery Bus Boycott.

On October 14, 1964, King won the Nobel Peace Prize for
combating racial inequality through nonviolent resistance.

In his final years, he expanded his focus to include opposition

As NBC and CBS had held the rights to nationally televise
AFL and NFL games, respectively, it was decided that both networks were allowed to broadcast the game.

NEW YORK — “Honeymooners” actress Joyce Randolph, who
played Ed Norton’s sarcastic wife Trixie, has died. She was 99.

Her son Randolph Charles told The Associated Press Sunday,
his mother died of natural causes Saturday night at her home
on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

She was the last surviving main character of the beloved comedy
from television’s golden age of the 1950s.

The Honeymooners is a television sitcom that originally
aired from 1955 to 1956, created by and starring Jackie
Gleason, and based on a recurring comedy sketch of the        
same name that had been part of Gleason’s variety show.
