The first ice pop Popsicle was created by accident in 1905 when 11-year-old
Frank Epperson left a mixture of powdered soda, water, and a stirring stick in a 
cup on his porch in cold weather. That night, temperatures reached a record
low, and the next morning, Epperson discovered the drink had frozen to the
stick, creating the idea of a fruit-flavored ‘Popsicle.’ Eighteen years later in
in 1923, Epperson introduced his idea to the public at an amusement park in
Alameda, California. Seeing that it was a success, in 1924 Epperson applied
for a patent for his confectionery idea which he called the Epsicle ice pop. He
renamed it to Popsicle and sold the rights to a New York company in 1925.

Carlos Ray "Chuck" Norris is a martial arts expert and actor who, after a 
stint in the U.S. Air Force, began his rise to fame in martial arts and has
since founded his own school, Chun Kuk Do. As a result of his "tough guy"
image, Norris appeared in a number of action films, such as Way of  the
Dragon (1971) in which he starred alongside Bruce Lee and was Cannon
Group movie studio’s leading star in the 1980s. He next played the starring
role in the CBS television series Walker,Texas Ranger from 1993 to 2001.

Dean Torrence (above) along with William Jan Berry were Jan and Dean, a 
rock and roll duo, popular from the late 1950s through the mid 1960s.They
became associated with the vocal "surf music" craze that was popularized by
The Beach Boys. Berry (Jan) died March 26, 2004. Torrence tours occasionally
with The Surf City Allstars.

Sharon Stone actress, film producer, and former fashon model achieved huge
recognition for her role in the erotic thriller Basic Instinct in 1992. She was
nominated for an Academy Award fro Best Actress and won a Golden Globe
Award for Best Actress in a motion Picture for her 1995 performance in Casino.
