it did not stop him when he made a comeback and in 1956 Heywood

Casey Kasem is a radio personality and voice actor, best known for his hosting
of the nationally syndicated Top 40 countdown show from 1970 to 1988 and
again from 1998 to 2004. In addition to his radio work, Kasem has provided his
voice for many cartoon characters and commercials. He also helps with the
announcing on the annual Jerry Lewis MDA telethon.
