Walt Disney’s first ever 3-D cartoon “Melody” premiered at
the Paramount Theater in Hollywood. It was a short (10-min)
distributed by RKO. The film was the first in a proposed series
of shorts teaching the principles of music.

On with the Show! is a 1929 musical film released by Warner Bros. It is the
first ever all-talking all-color feature length movie, and the second color
movie released by Warner Bros. It debuted in New York City.

led to the group’s first album, and then…along comes the Association.
JOHN FOGERTY TURNED 66 TODAY
John Cameron Fogerty achieved fame as the lead singer/songwriter and
guitarist in Creedence Clearwater Revival and has since gone on to a
chart-topping solo career. Fogerty has a rare distinction of being named
on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of 100 Greatest Guitarists at #40 and the
list of 100 Greatest Singers at #72.
