Joseph Raymond Conniff (November 6, 1916 – October 12, 2002)

Bandleader and arranger Ray Conniff was best known for his Ray Conniff Singers 
in the 1960s. He sold about 70 million albums worldwide, and continued recording
and performing until his death.

entrepreneur who successfully patented the first electric razor on November 6,
1923. He started the Schick Dry Shaver, Inc. razor company. His electric dry
shaver reached the market in 1929.
