Marilyn Monroe (Norma Jeane Mortenson)
(June 1, 1926 – August 5, 1962)
The death of Marilyn Monroe was ruled to be "acute barbiturate poisoning"
by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office and listed as "probable suicide".
Many believe to this day that she was murdered. The death of Monroe has
since become one of the most debated conspiracy theories of all time.

Neil Alden Armstrong is a former NASA astronaut, Naval Aviator, aerospace
engineer, university professor, and the first person to set foot upon the Moon.

COMIC STRIP DEBUTED ON THIS DAY IN 1974
Tank McNamara is a daily syndicated comic strip written by Jeff Millar and illustrated
by Bill Hinds. The title character is a local sports television reporter who used to be
a defensive lineman in the National Football League. The strip focuses primarily
on contemporary athletics and related subjects like politics and and social issues.
