The single was Fats Domino’s third release in a row to reach number
one on the R&B Best Sellers chart, where it stayed for six weeks. It
peaked at number four on the pop singles chart.

CAR DESIGNER DIES AT 96

Roy Brown Jr., a car designer for Ford Motor Co. whose signature creation,  
the supposedly futuristic but ultimately ill-fated Edsel, became a synonym
for bold, bad ideas not long after it was introduced in 1957, died on Feb. 24 
in Michigan.

Peggy March (Margaret Annemarie Battavio) is best rememered for
her 1963 million-selling recording “I Will Follow Him”.

She was discovered at age thirteen singing at her cousin’s wedding
was introduced to record producers Hugo & Luigi. They gave her the
nickname Little Peggy March because she was only 4ft 9in.
