Stan Freberg (Stanley Friberg)
Freberg is an author, recording artist, animation voice actor, comedian,
radio personality, puppeteer and advertising creative director. His career
began in 1944. He is still active in the industry today.

B.J. THOMAS IS 71 TODAY
Thomas is known for his hits of the 1960s and 1970s, which appeared
on the pop, country and Christian charts. Before his solo career, B.J.
sang in a church choir as a teenager then formed his first band the
Traits and the Triumphs with his high school friends. He earned his
first #1 single in 1969 with ‘Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head.’
NUMBER-ONE ON THIS DAY IN 1971
The Bee Gees scored their first Billboard number one with
"How Can You Mend A Broken Heart". Barry and Robin Gibb
had originally written the song for Andy Williams, but he
turned it down.
