on the pop, country and Christian charts. Before his solo career, B.J.
sang in a church choir as a teenager then formed his first band the
Traits and the Triumphs with his high school friends. He earned his
first #1 single in 1969 with ‘Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head.’
