Brenda Lee (Brenda Mae Tarpley)
Lee had 37 chart hits during the 1960’s. one of which is her best known 1960
hit ”I’m Sorry”. She also recorded 1958’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”,
which has been a Christmas standard for more than 50 years.
At 4 ft. 9 inches Brenda Lee received the nickname Little Miss Dynamite in 1957
after recording the song “Dynamite”.
This recording features the guitar of Hank Garland and the swinging
sax of Boots Randolph.
