DALLAS (FoxNews) –  Lee Harvey Oswald’s gold wedding band has sold at auction
for $118,000. 

RR Auction said the ring that belonged to the man who assassinated President John
F. Kennedy sold to a Texas buyer who wishes to remain anonymous. The ring was among nearly 300 items linked to the former president that went up for auction
Thursday in Boston.

The Pacific Hardware and Steel Company Warehouse, located at 2181 NW Nicolai
in the Northwest Industrial District of Portland, was built in 1910 as a warehouse for
steel produced at the rolling mill which was located next door.

The DJ turned rock star, who is best remembered for hit recording of “Chantilly Lace”,
died in a tragic plane crash along with legends Buddy Holly and young Ritchie Valens.

Richardson began his musical career as a songwriter. George Jones later recorded 
his "White Lightning", which became Jones’ first #1 country hit in 1959. He also 
wrote "Running Bear" for his friend Johnny Preston and is credited for making the
first music video in 1958.
