The Lone Ranger (Clayton Moore) and Tonto (Jay Silverheels)
The Lone Ranger television series ran from 1949 to 1957, starring Clayton Moore
(John Hart from 1952 to 1954) with Jay Silverheels as Tonto. The show initially
featured Gerald Mohr as the episode narrator. Fred Foy served as both narrator
and announcer of the radio series from 1948 to its finish and became announcer
of the television version when story narration was dropped there. This was by far
the highest-rated television program on the ABC network in the early 1950s and
its first big hit.
The Four Seasons first #1 hit remained at the top for five consecutive
weeks, and was number one on the R&B charts for one week.
According to song writer Bob Gaudio, the song took about 15 minutes

Lady Jacqueline Kennedy).

GRAND ISLAND, N.Y (AP) – The world’s oldest man, a 112-year-old self-
taught musician, coal miner and gin rummy aficionado from western New
York, has died.
Salustiano Sanchez-Blazquez died Friday at a nursing home in Grand
Island, according to Robert Young, senior gerontology consultant with
Guinness World Records.
Sanchez-Blazquez became the world’s oldest man when Jiroemon Kimura
died June 12 at age 116.
Sanchez-Blazquez had said his longevity was attributed to eating one
banana per day and his daily dose of six Anacin tablets. His daughter
had another theory.
"I think it’s just because he’s an independent, stubborn man," she said.
