SINGLE RELEASED ON THIS DAY IN 1956
on July 30, 1956, Decca Records offered 11 year-old Brenda Lee a contract,
and her first record with the label was "Jambalaya". The single never charted.
Branda Lee (Brenda Mae Tarpley) will be 71 on December 11.
