Moses Eugene Malone (March 23, 1955 – September 13, 2015)

Moses Malone was a Hall of Fame basketball player who starred in both the 
American Basketball Association and the National Basketball Association.

He was a three-time NBA MVP and a member of the NBA’s 50th Anniversary
All-Time
Team
, Malone was the most successful prep-to-pro player of his era,
going straight from Petersburg High to a 21-year career in professional
basketball. Malone died in his sleep from an apparent heart attack Sunday
in Norfolk, Virginia.

Milton Snavely Hershey (September 13, 1857 – October 13, 1945)

Businessman and philanthropist Milton S. Hershey founded the Hershey
Chocolate Company in 1905. He supplied chocolates for the U.S. troops
during WWII. Rather than Hershey’s Bars, they were called Ration D Bars.
