also known as Holy Friday, Great Friday, Black Friday, or Easter Friday.

COMEDIAN HAS DIED AT 66


Garry Emmanuel Shandling (November 29, 1949 – March 24, 2016)

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Shandling suddenly collapsed
and was rushed to a hospital where he died of a massive heart attack.

ACTOR BORN ON THIS DAY IN 1930


Terence Steven "Steve" McQueen was born in Indiana 
(March 24, 1930 – November 7, 1980)

Steve McQueen starred in the 1968 action film, Bullitt. He was nicknamed the
King of Cool when he was acting in the ’60s & ’70s, and was nominated for an
Academy Award for his role in The Sand Pebbles (1966). He also starred in
The Magnificent Seven (1960) and The Great Escape (1963). McQueen died 
in his sleep of cardiac arrest,12 hours after surgery to remove or reduce
numerous metastatic tumors in his neck and abdomen. He was 50.
