The Phil Silvers Show, originally titled You’ll Never Get Rich, is a sitcom
which ran on CBS-TV from 1955 to 1959. A total of 143 episodes were
broadcast – all half-an-hour long except for a 1959 one-hour live special.

The series starred Phil Silvers as Master Sergeant Ernest G. Bilko of the
United States Army.

rewards program operated by the Sperry & Hutchinson company
(S&H), founded in 1896 by Thomas Sperry and Shelley Byron
Hutchinson.

Customers would receive stamps at the checkout counter of many
supermarkets, department stores, and gasoline stations among
other retailers, which could be redeemed for numerous products
in the catalog (above).
