HAMILTON LETTERS TO BE AUCTIONED OFF

Dozens of the letters penned by one of the nation’s founding fathers will go on the
block Jan. 18, with an estimated worth starting at $1.4 million and topping $2
million. But Sotheby’s expects the feverish interest in the megahit, the only
known letter from Hamilton’s son Philip to the man addressed as "Papa” will
likely drive prices up.

Buddy Greco was a jazz – pop singer and pianist. His recordings, in several
genres, have sold over one million records. He spent four years with Benny
Goodman’s orchestra, singing, playing piano, and arranging.

Sir Roderick David "Rod" Stewart is 72 today.

Stewart worked as a newspaper delivery boy and a gravedigger. He left school
when he was fifteen and sought out a career as a footballer until he was
rejected.

Rod Stewart received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007 and in
2006 he won a Grammy Award for the best Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album
for Stardust…The Great American Songbook Volume III.

. It became very popular, charting in the top ten of both the
Billboard Hot 100 (#9) and Billboard’s R&B chart (#1)."Twistin’ the
Night Away" was successful overseas as well, peaking at #6 on the
UK Singles Chart.
