Howard Robard Hughes Jr.
(December 24, 1905 – April 5, 1976)

Howard Hughes was a business magnate and famed aviation
pioneer. He was one of the richest men to emerge from the
American West during the 20th century.

The largest wooden airplane ever constructed, and flown
only one time by Howard Hughes, the Spruce Goose.

DALLAS (AP) — An unopened copy of Nintendo’s Super Mario
Bros. that was bought in 1986 and then forgotten about in a
desk drawer has sold at auction for $660,000 Friday.

Heritage Auctions in Dallas said the video game was bought as
a Christmas gift but ended up being placed in a desk drawer,
where it remained sealed in plastic with its hang tab intact
until it was found earlier this year.
