(FOX NEWS) – Palisades Charter High School has been
engulfed in flames due to the wildfires raging in the
Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The burning property, a popular location for Hollywood
productions, has been severely damaged by the "Carrie”
(1976) and “Freaky Friday” (2003). The MTV series “Teen
Wolf” was also filmed there. 

The Los Angeles Unified School District announced
"Palisades Charter High School, an independent charter
high school, is not currently in session. Therefore, no
actions specific to students or staff are warranted at this
time."

Denzel Hayes Washington Jr. is 70 years old today.

Washington is an actor, producer, and director. Known for 
dramatic roles on stage and screen, The New York Times
named him the greatest actor of the 21st century in 2020.

He has received several accolades, including two Academy
Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and a Tony Award as
well as nominations for two Emmy Awards and a Grammy
Award.

Zacharias Ward (54) is a Canadian actor known for his role
as Scut Farkus (above) in the 1983 film A Christmas Story
and its 2022 sequel A Christmas Story Christmas.

Martin was a singer, actor and comedian. One of the most
popular entertainers of the mid-20th century, he was
nicknamed "The King of Cool."

Martin retired from public life in early 1995 and died of acute
respiratory failure resulting from emphysema at his Beverly
Hills home on Christmas Day, 1995, at the age of 78.

(Los Angeles) – Art Evans, the actor known for his roles in Die
Hard 2 (1990) and A Soldier’s Story (1984), died Saturday. The
cause of death was not disclosed.

One of Evans’s early roles was the first victim in the John
Carpenter horror film Christine (1983).
