Engelbert Humperdinck (Arnold George Dorsey)

Humperdinck started recording music after he was
discharged from the British Army. His biggest hit
was "Release Me" in 1967. He took the name
Engelbert Humperdinck after the famed German
composer. Engelbert has sold more than 150
million records worldwide.

(SUN) – A piece of movie history is going on sale, and vintage car fans
can snap it up for a bargain price.

The 1928 Renault Type NN Tourer that was seen in the 1988 blockbuster
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is due to be auctioned off on May 17
by Brightwells.

The car can be seen in the iconic film’s final sequence where Indy,
on horseback, is chased by a tank as Nazis try to beat him to the Holy
Grail (below).

The car saw a full interior restoration and engine rebuild, before
spending the last 25 years in the History on Wheels museum in
Windsor.

Willie Hugh Nelson was born in Abbott, Texas.

Country singer, activist, poet, songwriter, actor, and author Willie Nelson 
helped create Farm Aid. He has written many popular country hits, including
"Funny How Time Slips Away" and "Hello Walls." He grew up during the
Great Depression and played music for money because he did want to
pick cotton. He wrote his first song when he was seven years old. Willy
Nelson is one of the most recognized faces of country music having
appeared in over thirty films. Nelson’s birth was recorded by doctor F.
D. Sims on April 30.

James Douglas Muir "Jay" Leno is 68 years old today.

Jay Leno graduated from Emerson College with a Speech Therapy
degree and founded his own comedy club.

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno was a late-night talk show hosted
by Jay Leno that first aired from May 25, 1992 to May 29, 2009, and
resumed production on March 1, 2010 until its ending on February
6, 2014.
