Carol Creighton Burnett was born in San Antonio, Texas.

Burnett hosted “The Carol Burnett Show” on CBS from 1967 to 1978 
after winning Tony, Emmy, and Golden Globe Awards for her work in
various genres. Before stardom she worked as an usherette and hat-
check girl while living in a boarding house for women pursuing acting
careers.

of the 60 Greatest Shows of All Time.

VETERAN BROADCASTER HAS DIED AT 56

Steven Patrick "Steve" Byrnes (April 14, 1959 – April 21, 2015)

A NASCAR broadcaster whose career included stints with CBS, Fox Sports Net
and TNN is dead. Steve Byrnes died in the early hours of Tuesday as a result
of complications from cancer in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

Majors is best known for his roles as Heath Barkley in the TV series
The Big Valley (1965–69), as Colonel Steve Austin in The Six Million
Dollar Man
(1973–78) and as Colt Seavers in The Fall Guy (1981–86)
all ABC productions.

Major found work at the Los Angeles Park and Recreation Department
after rejecting an offer to play football professionally.
