The last Thunderbird, Ford Motor Company’s iconic sports car,
emerges from a Ford factory in Wixom,
Michigan on July 1, 2005.

Ford began its development of the Thunderbird in the years
following
World War II, during which American servicemen
had the opportunity to observe sleek European sports cars

Joe Turkel (Born July 15, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York)
(Died – June 27, 2022 in
Santa Monica, California
)

Turkel got started on his film career in the late 1940s,
appearing in film noirs including City Across the River 
(1949), The Glass Wall (1953), Duffy of San Quentin (1954), 
The Human Jungle
among others. 

On television, he could be seen on Boston Blackie, Public
Defender, The Lone Ranger, The Lineup, Bonanza, The
Untouchables, Tales
From the Darkside and Miami Vice. 


His final film appearance came in 1990 in The Dark Side of
the Moon
, and he reprised his role of Tyrell, in voice only,
for a 1997 Blade Runner video game.

ICONIC MODEL MAKER HAS DIED AT AGE 76

 Greg Jein  
Greg Jein (born October 31, 1945 in Los Angeles, died
May 22, 2022)

The Star Trek family lost one of their own last month as prominent
model maker, and designer Gregory Jein passed away. His family
announced his death via
The Hollywood Reporter this week.

The talented artist died on May 22 of cardiac arrest. His passing
followed a long battle with diabetes. Jein is survived by his
cousins Eleanor, Cheryl, Jerry, Vivian, Laura, and Janice, along
with their families. 
 
Jein lent his legendary model making talents to at Least 8‘Star
Trek’ Films & Shows.
