Claire Trevor (March 8, 1910 – April 8, 2000) was an actress, nicknamed the "Queen of Film Noir" because of her many appearances in ”bad girl” roles in film noir and other black-and-white thrillers. She appeared in over 60 films. Trevor’s acting career spanned more than seven decades and included successes in stage, radio, television and film. She costarred with John Wayne, gaining her final Oscar nomination for The High and the Mighty in 1954 (picture from the film above).

Rachel  Weisz is an English film and theatre actress and fashion model. Her acting
career began while attending the University of Cambridge college, where she co-
founded a theatrical group. The group was awarded the Student Drama Award.

Rachel made her film debut in the 1994 film Death Machine, but gained recognition  
for her roles in the 1996 movie Chain Reaction,and her portrayals in the films The Mummy, in 1999, and The Mummy Returns in 2001. Rachel was also in Enemy at
the Gates
in 2001, and The Constant Gardner in 2005, for which she received the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress as well as
the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in
a Supporting Role.

stories, published by Time Inc.The first issue of People magazine featured actress
Mia Farrow, then starring in the 1974 film The Great Gatsby, on the cover. It also
featured stories on Gloria Vanderbilt, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, and the wives of
U.S. Vietnam veterans who were Missing In Action. The magazine was, apart
from the cover, printed in black and white.

Jean Harlow was a film actress and sex symbol of the 1930s. Known as the
"Platinum Blonde" and the "Blonde Bombshell”, she was rated as one of the
greatest movie stars of all time by the American Film Institute. Harlow achieved
massive fame while under contract with MGM. She died in 1937 of kidney failure
at the age of 26.
