The Odd Couple is a television situation comedy broadcast from Thursday
September 24, 1970 to July 4, 1975 on the ABC television network. It was
based on the Neil Simon play of the same name.

garnered numerous awards over the years, including 78 Emmys, as of
2007. It is considered by many to be the most distinguished investigative
television program in America. In 2002, 60 Minutes was ranked #6 on TV
Guide’s 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time.

Street and The Muppet Show.
President Eisenhower sits in a wheelchair after being released from
Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Denver
On Saturday September 24, 1955, President Dwight D. Eisenhower suffered
a heart attack while vacationing in Denver, Colorado. He spent seven weeks
on the 8th floor of Fitzsimmons Army Hospital. In November the President
returned to Washington and then on to his farm in Gettysburg to recuperate.
The ABC television series The Mod Squad ran from Tuesday September 24, 1968,
until August 23, 1973. It was loosely based on the the experiences of the shows
creator Bud Ruskin’s as a squad leader for undercover narcotics police officers
in the late 1950s.
