THE BEATLES LAST TIME IN THE STUDIO

On this day, forty three years ago, was the last time that all four of The Beatles were
together in a recording studio for the last time.They completed "I Want You" for the 
"Abby Road" album at EMI’s London studio.

DIRECTOR TONY SCOTT IS DEAD AT 68

(AP) – Tony Scott, director of such Hollywood hits as "Top Gun," "Days of Thunder"
and "Beverly Hills Cop II," died Sunday after jumping from a Los Angeles County
bridge, authorities said.

Scott’s death was being investigated as a suicide, Los Angeles County Coroner’s 
Lt. Joe Bale said. He was the younger brother of fellow film director Ridley Scott.

               Scott McKenzie (Philip Wallach Blondheim

                      (January 10, 1939 – August 18, 2012)

Scott McKenzie had been extremely ill recently and passed away at his
home in Los Angles following a two week hospital stay. He is best known
for the 1967 generational anthem, "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear
Flowers in Your Hair)
".
