Nelson Ackerman Eddy (June 29, 1901 – March 6, 1967)
Eddy was a singer and actor who appeared in 19 musical films
during the 1930s and 1940s, eight of them were with Jeanette
MacDonald. He also sang in opera, on the concert stage and
radio and television. For a time he was the highest paid singer
in the country, with three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
New Moon, 1940, based on Sigmund Romberg‘s 1927 Broadway hit,
became one of Eddy’s most popular films.

Actor Gary Busey has appeared in a variety of films, including Point Break
(1991), and Under Siege (1992). He was nominated for an Academy Award
for Best Actor in 1978 for his role in The Buddy Holly Story. Busey has also
made guest appearances on numerous television shows.
On December 4, 1988, Busey was severely injured in a motorcycle accident
in which he was not wearing a helmet. His skull was fractured, and doctors
feared he suffered permanent brain damage. He is currently on medication
for behavioral disorders.
