PETER O’TOOLE IS 81 TODAY
O’Toole achieved stardom in 1962 playing T. E. Lawrence in Lawrence of
Arabia. He has been nominated for eight Academy Awards, a record for
the most Academy Award acting nominations without a win.
THE GALILEO LANDS IN HOUSTON
HOUSTON — Space Center Houston is now the new home of the fully
restored Galileo Shuttlecraft that appeared in several episodes of the
original Star Trek TV series. It was officially unveiled Thursday morning.
The restoration project was a year-long effort, led by Adam and Leslie
Schneider along with Trek fans and memorabilia collectors.

FIRST PUBLISHED ON THIS DAY IN 1963
Published in The United Kingdom as a fan club magazine, The
Beatles Book (also known as Beatles Monthly continued for 77
editions until it stopped publication after the December 1969
edition. It was revived in 1976, and ceased publication in 2003.
