BORN ON THIS DAY IN 1921
Sir Peter Alexander Ustinov (April 16, 1921 – March 28, 20004)
British born Ustinov was the winner of numerous awards during his
career, including two Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actor,
Emmy Awards Golden Globes and BAFTA Awards for acting. He
made his stage debut in 1938 at the prestigious Players’ Theater
prior to serving in the British Army.

BOBBY VINTON IS 80 TODAY
Bobby Vinton (born Stanley Robert "Bobby" Vinton, Jr. in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania)
Bobby Vinton’s #1 charting single "Blue Velvet" in 1963 was made famous
by a film of the same name by David Lynch. Vinton was a member of the
U.S. Army and signed to Epic Records after being discharged.
