Kenneth “Ken” Patrick Weatherwax
(September 29, 1955 – December 7, 2014)

Ken Weatherwax, best known for playing Pugsley
Addams on the original The Addams Family TV
series on ABC from 1964 to 196, died in his sleep
Sunday morning.

After The Addams Family was canceled, Weatherwax
found it difficult to get work in Hollywood and was
typecast as Pugsley well into his teens.

At 17, he entered the U.S. Army and later made
appearances at conventions and performed some
small acting jobs including voice-overs. He had also
worked as a set builder on movie lots from 1992-2002.

With the passing of Ken Weatherwax, the only regular
cast members from The Addams Family still living are
John Astin, Lisa Loring, and Felix Silla.

LOST ON THIS DAY IN 1945

The so-called "Lost Squadron" involved the disappearance of 14 men of Flight
19 that began a training mission from Ft. Lauderdale Naval Air Station. It led to
one of the largest air and sea searches to that date. Hundreds of ships and
aircraft combed thousands of square miles of the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf
of Mexico, and remote locations within the interior of Florida. No trace of the
bodies or aircraft was ever found. Flight 19 remains one of the great aviation
mysteries.
