Michael Douglas won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role
in the 1987 film Wall Street. He reprised his role in the 2010 sequel
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. His other notable film credits
include The China Syndrome (1979) Basic Instinct (1992) and Falling
Down (1993). He is the son of legendary actor
Kirk Douglas.

Award in 2009 when his song "Working on a Dream" took Best Solo Rock
Vocal Performance. Springsteen felt deep alienation while attending high
school and did not appear at his
graduation. He failed his physical
examinations after being drafted to fight in Vietnam and never served.

Gerald Ford looks to where a shot was fired as he is leaving the St.
Francis Hotel.

On Sept. 22, 1975, Sara Jane Moore’s attempt to assassinate President Ford
was thwarted by Oliver Sipple, a disabled former marine. It was the second
attempt on Ford’s life in less than three weeks.

Irving Berlin was a Russian born, American composer and lyricist, widely considered one of the greatest songwriters in American history.

“God Bless America” was composed by  Jewish songwriter, Irving Berlin, in 1938. Berlin’s original name was Israel Baline, and he was born in Eastern Russia in 1888.
