NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Half of the duo who first
recorded Tennessee’s “Rocky Top” has passed away
at 84. Sonny Osborne, of the Osborne Brothers, at his
home Sunday afternoon at his home in Hendersonville,
TN.
The banjoist joined forces with his brother Bobby to
form the Osborne Brothers band in 1953.

(Fox News) – – “Friends” actor James Michael Tyler, who played
Gunther on the hit sitcom, has died at the age of 59 years.
Tyler reportedly died peacefully in his home Saturday evening. He
was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2018, later campaigning for
individuals to start testing for the disease as early as 40 years.

On October 24, 1901, a 63-year-old schoolteacher named Annie
Edson Taylor became the first person to successfully take the
plunge over Niagara Falls in a barrel.
After her husband died in the Civil War, the New York-born Taylor
moved all over the U. S. before settling in Bay City, Michigan,
around 1898. In July 1901, while reading an article about the Pan-
American Exposition in Buffalo, she learned of the growing
popularity of two enormous waterfalls located on the border of
upstate New York and Canada. Strapped for cash and seeking
fame, Taylor came up with the perfect attention-getting stunt:
She would go over Niagara Falls in a barrel.







Peter Thomas Scolari (September 12, 1955 – October 22, 2021)
(Fox News) – Peter Scolari, who famously starred in the sitcom
“Bosom Buddies” alongside Tom Hanks, has died.
His passing was confirmed by his manager, Ellen Lubin Sanitsky,
to Fox News on Friday. The cause of death was cancer after a two-
year battle.
“He was a wonderful, wonderful, extraordinary actor,” she said.
“It’s heartbreaking.”
