Doris Day (born Doris Mary Ann Kappelhoff in Cincinnati, Ohio) 

President George W. Bush awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom 
for her work on behalf of animal welfare.

Good Friday is a Christian religious holiday commemorating the crucifixion
of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. The holiday is observed during
Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday, and may coincide with the Jewish observance of Passover.

The Martin and Lewis Show premiered on NBC radio with guest star Bob Hope
and aired until July 14, 1953. Sponsors of the comedy/variety program were
Chesterfield cigarettes and Anacin. 

"Blue Moon" sold a million copies, and was awarded a gold disc. It is featured in
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll. The
famous introduction to the song was an excerpt of an original song that the
group had in its act.
