Lockhart played the mother on the CBS television series Lassie from 1954 to
1973 and Lost in Space from 1965 to 1968. She made her film debut in A
Christmas Carol
opposite of her actor parents, Gene and Kathleen Arthur
Lockhart, in 1938. June Lockhart originally started in theater.

was born in
Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

The film actor, director and history lecturer has appeared in more than 70
films and television series, including turns as the title characters in blockbuster
hit RoboCop (1987) and its sequel RoboCop 2 (1990), as well as the 1984 cult
classic The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension,often
shortened to Buckaroo Banzai.

 

Richard M. Nixon is escorted by RoboCop at a national board meeting
of the Boys Club of America in 1987. The RoboCop character was on
hand to call attention to Orion Home Video’s RoboCop RubOut
promotion.

DICK VAN PATTEN HAS DIED AT 86

Richard Vincent "Dick" Van Patten
(December 9, 1928 – June 23, 2015)

(Fox News) – Dick Van Patten, the actor who found lasting fame
as the patriarch on TV’s "Eight is Enough," has died.

Van Patten’s rep confirmed the news of his death to FOX. The
actor died Tuesday in Santa Monica, California, of complications
from diabetes.



Original run on ABC: March 15, 1977 – August 29, 1981.
