Timothy F. "Tim" LaHaye (April 27, 1926 – July 25, 2016)
Beloved evangelist Tim LaHaye, who co-wrote the blockbuster "Left Behind"
Christian thrillers, died Monday at the age of 90 following a stroke last week,
Newsmax has learned the Detroit-born LaHaye, who was also an Air Force
veteran, "is where he has always wanted to be," said Jerry B. Jenkins, who
authored 16 bestsellers with LaHaye.
Time magazine named LaHaye one of the 25 most influential evangelicals
in America and in the summer of 2001 the Evangelical Studies Bulletin named
him the most influential Christian leader of the preceding quarter century.
