the Billboard Top 100 in 1957. It was ranked #25 on Billboard magazine’s
Top Hot 100 songs of 1957. The records A-side, "I’m Walkin’", reached
#4 on the Billboard chart and #10 on the
R&B chart.

"Inside Pop – The Rock Revolution” was a CBS News special hosted by Leonard Bernstein. It was one of the first examples of pop music being examined as a
‘serious’ art form. The show featured many scenes shot in Los Angeles in late
1966, including interviews with Frank Zappa and Graham Nash, as well as a now legendary Brian Wilson solo performance of "Surf’s Up."

Carol Creighton Burnett was born in San Antonio, Texas.

Burnett hosted “The Carol Burnett Show” on CBS from 1967 to 1978 
after winning Tony, Emmy, and Golden Globe Awards for her work in
various genres. Before stardom she worked as an usherette and hat-
check girl while living in a boarding house for women pursuing acting
careers.
